These Terms of Service govern all purchases made through the website of Abstract Drinks SARL (the "Company"). By placing an order and completing payment, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms in full.
By browsing this website, creating an account, or completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, our Shipping Policy, and our Refund Policy in their entirety. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or place an order.
1. Scope
These Terms apply to all sales made via the Company's website to private customers. Any deviation from these Terms must be agreed in writing between the parties.
2. Orders & Contract Formation
Orders are placed through the website. A binding contract is formed upon successful payment of the order. The Company reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at its discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, non-compliance with these Terms, or force majeure events.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are expressed in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include VAT. Delivery costs are indicated separately at checkout. Payment is due in full at the time of order. Orders will not be processed until payment has been received and confirmed.
3a. Pre-orders
Certain products may be offered for pre-order. By placing a pre-order, you authorise payment to be collected at the time of order. Pre-ordered items will be dispatched from the date indicated at the time of purchase. The Company reserves the right to modify the dispatch date in exceptional circumstances and will notify customers accordingly.

6. Product Storage
Products must be stored in accordance with the instructions provided at the time of purchase or on the product packaging. The Company accepts no liability for any damage or deterioration resulting from improper storage by the customer.
7. Alcohol Policy
Products containing alcohol may only be purchased by individuals who have reached the legal drinking age in their country of residence. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement. All products are sold for personal use only and may not be resold.
8. Health & Liability
The Company complies with applicable food safety regulations. Prior to consumption, customers are responsible for reviewing all product information, including ingredients, allergens, and storage instructions. The Company shall not be liable for:
- Damage resulting from improper storage
- Allergic reactions
- Misuse of products
- Consumption of products beyond their shelf life
Any claims must be supported by appropriate evidence. Nothing in these Terms limits the Company's mandatory legal liability under applicable Swiss law.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Company's liability is limited to the total value of the relevant order. The Company shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of its products.
10. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, supply chain disruptions, or government actions.
11. No Right of Withdrawal
Given the perishable nature of our products, no right of cancellation or withdrawal applies once an order has been placed. Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for information on defective items.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland.
13. Intellectual Property & Unfair Competition AA/77
All content on this website, including but not limited to the RUUDE brand name, logo, product names, descriptions, images, and trade dress, is the exclusive property of Abstract Drinks SA and is protected under Swiss intellectual property law and the Federal Act against Unfair Competition (UWG/LCD). Any reproduction, imitation, benchmarking for commercial purposes, or systematic extraction of content from this website without prior written authorisation is strictly prohibited. Abstract Drinks SA reserves the right to take legal action against any person or entity engaging in acts of unfair competition or misappropriation of its intellectual property.
